Do you have any collections, if so, what are they? Workout and car magazines. Maybe it's not so much a collection but a hoard.
People would NEVER guess this about you: I spent the first 10 years of my life growing up in Italy and Spain. Also, I'm in love with the Discovery and Learning Channels.
If you are on an deserted island, what food, drink, compact disc and magazine/book would you want: Tons of Protein Powder, Lots of drinkable water (I don’t like anything else except the above mentioned favorite beverage), Kill Switch and Slipknot (because its hardcore and would keep me motivated) Survival Handbook (for obvious reasons)
Give us your most embarrassing moment: Wrecking my motorcycle(besides the fact I was almost killed)
Tell of most extreme conditions you've ever dealt with, either in training or competition: To prepare for the Northeast Extreme Strongman Showdow in MA I would travel 2 1/2 hours to Wilmington MA. Then I would train for 2 hours and drive back home. I did this 5 times before the show. To prepare for a Powerlifting show I would often squat so heavy I'd rupture a blood vessel in my nose.
Favorite event: strongman event: Atlas stones-Weightlifting: Deadlifts
Best event: All
Advice to beginners on getting into strongman: Having a strong core in weightlifting/powerlifting is essential.
Most impressive feat you've ever seen: Kaz's deadlift
Strongman you admire the most: Zydrunas Savickas
The persons responsible for making me the person I am today: everyone I am close to has pushed me to achieve my goals and succeed in life.
Defining moment that made me get into strongman: I always watched the shows on TV and thought I could one day compete. Once I began competing in Powerlifting I received a flyer from my powerlifting federation. On the back of the flyer was an ad for an Strongman show in PA held by Gary Udit. I had to give it a try.
Defining moment in your life: As of the last few years it seems like almost eveyday my life is changing. Mostly for the better. It's impossible to pinpoint one moment. Becoming a pro strongman and a Police Officer are up there!
